Hello everyone my name is Angela and I am the heart and soul of "Junque 2 Treasure".
Our goal is to turn what most people see as junk, into something you will treasure!!
Every little girl that was born in the 80's has probably watched "The Little Mermaid". This was and still is hands down my favorite Disney movie. So one night as I am folding my laundry downstairs I look over at my "Silverware Wall"
and start humming the tune to "Part of your world"...I've got gadgets and gizmos
a-plenty I've got whozits and whatzits galore You want thingamabobs? I got twenty...and right then and then I realize not only did I have a problem lol, but like Ariel and her friends, I see things a little different than most. When the world sees "Junk" or ordinary everyday objects, Ariel and
her friend Scuttle see it for what they could be...like the dinglehopper... the perfect comb!!
For me, well I see jewelry and bugs!
What started out as creations from my pictures lead to an entire collection of unique treasures. They say the first road to recovery is admitting you have a problem lol...well I started down that road then saw a path along the way that lead me to a tunnel which brought me to a fork in the road...but I will take the path less traveled as it will light the way to a journey I will never forget.. All of my creations have taught me something different, patience, teamwork, perseverance and that just because the world says something is a certain way doesn't mean you have to follow in their footsteps...make your own path and enjoy the journey!!
Special thanks to my husband for encouraging me to take my hobbies to the next level & putting up with piles of wood in our yard, totes full of picture frames, numerous cans of spray paint, wood stain, brushes, a silverware wall in our basement and a million trips to Menards. To my mom for going shopping with me and staring at a wall of supplies for 20 minutes just to pick out the perfect color or material. To my good friend for helping put it all together, for helping me feel more confident and for always reminding me that ...I am strong, smart and talented and that I could do all of this by myself. But even if I could...I would't want to...I am so very thankful for my family and friends and I would't be complete doing this without them!!!
